The child plan Academy at Pottanam was established in the year 2013 with the solemn opening by Dr.D Jaganathan, IAS, District Collector of Namakkal. The School is situated in an Educationally acclaimed city called Namakkal. Also Internationally well - Known Tamil poet called Namakkal Kavingnar was the precious seed sprouted from this commended city. The Child Plan Academy (CBSE) is spread over 5 acres of sylvan site, The school is situated on the NH-7 Namakkal - Salem Main Road. The School caters to the needs of Day corners, and also to avail the best education for all the Rural Children. The School aims at offering not only qualitative education but also training skills and life skill to bring the best out of the children.

The school aims to create a community of well - groomed and qualitative individuals, where a spirit of co-operation and mutual respect exists among the students and teachers, even though High academy achievement is the priority. The School organizes many activities though out the year where qualities like leadership and self-discipline are inculcated and intellectual and emotional growths of the individuals are emphasized very much.
